 Firstware Software Solutions was started in 1996 as the software division of the Brilliant Tutorials Group, a name renowned in India in fields ranging from skill building for competitive exams and high-end computer training to innovative management education. Mr. T. Neelakantan, Chairman of the Brilliant Tutorials Group, has a Bachelor of Technology Degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh. He has more than twenty five years experience in the IT industry with more than a decade in the U.S. software industry and was Director, Software Quality Assurance and Testing at Harris-Lanier, a major Defense Contractor in Atlanta, USA, prior to returning to India. Dr. Vasanti Neelakantan, Managing Director of the Group, holds a Master's degree in Microbiology from George Washington University and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Her twenty-plus years of work experience include fifteen years in the USA with an eight-year stint as Quality Assurance Specialist in the Healthcare and Non-wovens Sector at Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Atlanta, USA. Mr. Shyam Nagarajan, Director, has over twenty years experience in Sales and Marketing in the IT Industry. Since joining the Brilliant Group more than a decade ago, he first headed Firstware Software Solution, the software development division of the company. He developed Firstware into a dynamic organization with a highly motivated, dedicated team of software professionals and functional experts, that is now involved in all aspects of the software industry - from training to providing end-to-end solutions. Firstware is a Gold Certified Partner licenced to sell, customize and implement Microsoft Dynamics and is now among the top 5 Microsoft Partners in the country in terms of the number of satisfied customers and successful implementations in India and the APAC region. Mr.Nagarajan is now also leading the Group's new e-learning initiatives |
